Murfreesboro doesn't get much snow... not even chances of snow. It seems like we have more tornado warnings than snow alerts :).
This is a photo of the second day of snow that we had in Murfreesboro, which is also the second time we had snow in one year. I couldn't resist the rare occasion, so I took the afternoon off from the studio, and started walking around town, looking for a good angle to capture the "calamity". It's quite hard to take a photo of a snow storm when all you have is a half an inch of snow (more like a dandruff storm).
Well, the walk turned into a rather long promenade around town and on the Murfreesboro Greenway, and three hours later I realized that my extremities were past frozen, so I decided to turn around and go back to the studio. It's not much fun taking photos in 19°F (-8°C), but then again, all the other photographers who decided to stay at home thought the same thing.
I am going to post the color version of this photo (slightly cropped) in just a couple of minutes, since I don't know which one I prefer more. Plus, being such a rare occasion, it may be worth the double-post ;).
Keep warm,
Titus
