This is the third photo from our recent snow storm in Murfreesbooro, TN. It's taken somewhere close to the Stones River Artillery Monument, right off the Murfreesboro Greenway.
Keith and I were driving around looking for a way to take photos of the iced trees and plants on the Greenway, and he pointed out the field that was right next to us, how all the plants were covered in a thick layer of ice. I took several photos that were more or less mediocre, and then as I was getting ready to leave, I noticed the sky turning to a combination of colors, ranging from blue to pink, to yellow, and brown. I set my camera in flash WB, and this is pretty much how the photo turned out. It is a 10 second exposure at f/5.6, ISO200, and -1.3Ev, and I am very surprised everything came out sharp, since there was a slight breeze in the air.
Keep warm,
Titus
