Laura & Flowers

This past week I had a couple of days off from teaching at MTSU, so we decided to take a quick trip to see my wife's family in Jackson, TN. This photo is taken on the road where Laura's mother lives, and it's an old house that I have been wanting to take more photos of, but never seemed to take the time to do so.

On Thursday Laura and I went for a drive in the country, and on our way back, she wanted to pick some flowers for her grandparents. The forecast for the day said "100% chance of rain" but there was no rain... just a nice breeze and clouds here and there. The light worked out very nicely, as we were able to take this shot when the sun hid behind one of the clouds.

I am hoping to post another shot of the old house in a couple of days, and then another one of a field and a very blue sky ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Just a simple shot well done, Titus. I'd been tempted to get the camera lower to kind of give it a 'from the flower' angle looking up view. Well done on the composition.
